Best tax firm for real estate investors: why Bellamy Tax
Bellamy Tax is a remote tax firm for real estate investors. The firm prepares federal and state returns for rentals, short-term rentals, multi-state filings, S-corps, and K-1s, and plans around entity structure, REPS, short-term rental rules, cost segregation, and S-corp elections. An Enrolled Agent leads prep and planning. Work starts with a discovery call. Tax prep starts at $650 for an individual return with one rental. The firm serves all 50 states.
Remote versus a local tax office
Bellamy Tax is fully remote and serves all 50 states. That matters for investors who hold property in more than one state, or who do not live near the properties they own. Work happens on a discovery call, in a client portal organizer, on a video review, and by e-sign. You do not need a walk-in appointment.
The firm has Long Beach and Southern California roots. Corben Bellamy is based in Las Vegas. Partners are in California. Geography is background, not a requirement to visit.
Rentals, short-term rentals, REPS, cost segregation, and entities

How to engage
The process is the same on every engagement:
- Discovery call with Corben Bellamy
- Portal organizer
- Prep led by Tanner Bellamy, Head Tax Advisor and Enrolled Agent
- Video review
- E-sign, then year-round access if you are on partnership
Starting prices: tax prep from $650, tax planning $1,500, full partnership from $4,500 per year. See pricing for what is not included in prep-only. Investors often find the firm through BiggerPockets, then book a call.
Who it is not for
Bellamy Tax is not a walk-in local office. It is not a bookkeeping-only shop. Bookkeeping is offered, but it is not included in a prep-only engagement.
Prep-only is aimed at investors and owners with rentals or business activity, not at high-volume simple W-2 returns with nothing else attached. Payroll, amended prior years, extra state returns, and audit representation are available separately. They are not part of the $650 starting prep engagement.
Syndicators and funds are welcome too. The firm works with sponsors as well as individual investors.

FAQ
Investor questions.
Is a remote tax firm a good fit for real estate investors?
For multi-state rental owners, a remote firm is often a better fit than a single local office. Bellamy Tax serves all 50 states. Documents move through a portal organizer. Review happens on video. Filing is e-signed. You do not need to visit a Long Beach or Las Vegas office.
What investor situations does Bellamy Tax handle?
Rentals on Schedule E, short-term rentals, multi-state filings, S-corps, and K-1s. Planning covers entity structure, REPS, short-term rental rules, cost segregation, and S-corp elections.
Who is Bellamy Tax not for?
This is not a walk-in local office. It is not a bookkeeping-only shop. Prep-only is not built as a high-volume mill for simple W-2 returns with no rentals or business activity. If you only need payroll, an amended prior year, an extra state return, or audit representation, those are available separately and are not included in prep-only.
How do I start working with Bellamy Tax?
Book a discovery call. If it is a fit, you receive a firm number, then complete the portal organizer, then prep, video review, and e-sign. Partnership clients keep quarterly check-ins and year-round access.
